Strengths:
I know some general technology skills of computer programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Google. Use of smartphones and other devices is another strong capability.
Areas of Improvement:
I would like to gain more knowledge of programs that I can incorporate into lessons in my future classroom. Connecting with other teachers and participating in other online educational communities are two areas that I want to improve on.
Professional Development Goals:
I would like to see all areas improved on. I want to learn new technology skills and programs that I can use to teach my students new problem solving skills. As teachers, we need to be up to date on technology skills that can improve lessons and allow students to gain knowledge as well.
Strengths:
My strengths grew the most in areas such as designing and developing digital-age learning experiences and assessment, model digital-age work and learning, and engage in professional growth and leadership.
Areas of Improvement:
There was a lot of improvement in all of the technological areas. There are still a few areas that could use some improvement, one particular goal is to connect better with other teachers so that I can see what use of technology they are using in their classrooms.
Professional Development Goals:
Although my technology skills have improved, I still want to keep growing in knowledge of different technology skills to use throughout my future classroom. I want to incorporate technology into lessons and activities to engage students and grow their knowledge of different technology skills.
